I love my job! Homeschooling makes this possible. Georgia is a hands on learner for sure. She is doing great in math but sometimes the numbers seem to be too much on paper. So we re-write the problem on the dry erase board so we can make it bigger. She works the problem and then copies it onto her math sheet. She doesn't do this on every problem, just the ones she gets frustrated with.
Today was too pretty of a day to stay inside. While I was out sweeping the back porch, she came out and decided to do her long division on the porch with sidewalk chalk. I love it!!!! She loved doing it!.....I think Molly wanted to join the fun.....Before you know it she was done.
That is one of the things I love to get to be a part of. Watching her learn, her way is really a great sight to see. I don't think for her, she thinks for herself and helps to solve the problem. She needed clarity and to be near me , so she made it happen.
