Thanks for checking out my blog! I'm excited to share our tilted world. We believe Jesus Christ is our Savior and strive to live a life that reflects His love for us and His children. My husband and I have 3 children. Derek is the oldest. He is a senior at Marshall High School. JD is in the 6th grade and Georgia is in the 5th grade. They attend at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran School. While life can get quite busy we try to keep things in perspective.

Just for Girls
We had a wonderful time this weekend at an elementary girls fellowship with other homeschoolers in our local group! I think more than 40 girls plus mommies were in attendence. That was a huge group! The girls will be focusing on the fruits of the spirit!
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.-Galatians 5:22-23 NIV
Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.-Colossians 3:12-15 NIV
For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith, goodness;and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perserverance; and to perserverance; godliness; and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. -2Peter 1:5-9 NIV
We have some wonderful moms in the group that head up this monthly event. They came up with the verses to work on this year as we teach our little girls to live a godly life. Us mommies are learning too. I look forward to this time for not only Georgia to fellowship with other girls but for me to fellowship with her in a special way.She will get to do a craft and memorize scripture.
Thank you God for little girls-my Georgia!
