Thanks for checking out my blog! I'm excited to share our tilted world. We believe Jesus Christ is our Savior and strive to live a life that reflects His love for us and His children. My husband and I have 3 children. Derek is the oldest. He is a senior at Marshall High School. JD is in the 6th grade and Georgia is in the 5th grade. They attend at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran School. While life can get quite busy we try to keep things in perspective.

Decking the Crosswalk....
Saturday we helped set up for our Crosswalk service to be held Sunday. This service is held once a month in the gym. The whole set has to be put up the day before and then taken down once it is over. This month's theme? Christmas of course! This wasn't just a church service for our congregation and visitors, this was also a potluck and gift wrapping party! Gifts were being wrapped for children in Del Rio. We really didn't have any idea how we were going to decorate. But somehow everything fell into place. Before you knew it the christmas music was playing on the radio and everyone pitched in to set up the equippment, hang lights, find a christmas tree, decorate it, and pin up angel. While all the grown ups were busy, the kids JD, Georgia, and Rebecca, were busy being angels themselves. When it was done we really enjoyed the sight. (so much I went and bought a few more decorations at the dollar store for my house) I just had to keep decorating;)
The next day after everything was over and we stayed to help out a little with clean up, we went out to Poteet for the evening. On the drive out there Aaron and I discussed our weekend. Aaron had to work 48 hours so he didn't really have much of a weekend. I was at a Christcare retreat from 9-2ish on Saturday then back at the church to help set up till 8ish. Sunday we were at church till 2ish. Aaron and I really enjoy all the time we spend there. It is our favorite place to be and that is the way it should be.
